The 1 axis azimuthal (seasonal) tracker, received the “PV Application Award 2009” in Hamburg, Germany, during the EUPV trade show, Recognizing MECASOLAR’s commitement into new technological developements as per the needs and the demands of the pv market.
ADAPTABLE AND FLEXIBLE SOLUTION
The design of the H frame support structure provides the MECASOLAR tracker with substantial flexibility regarding the installation of modules compared to other manufacturers. The system can host up to 19Kw*
MANUALLY ADJUSTABLE POLAR TILT
The plots occupied by the MS-1E TRACKER are very similar those occupied by the traditional NONseasonal 1-axis solar tracker, resulting in a greater return on investment.
Foundation on surface footing – 10 cubic yards (7.5 m3) – not requiring any excavation. It is necessary, however, to clear the terrain by removing the top layer of vegetation and levelling the ground.
Each MECASOLAR solar tracker integrates an independent PLC controller, working to monitor solar movements, in order to handle the prevailing weather conditions and perform remote operations.
MINIMAL CONSUPTION, NO WELDING ON SITE AND SIMPLY INSTALLATON.
The mecasolar motors consume less energy per year (40 kWh/year), resulting in minimal consumption. The entire tracker can be assembled with fastening devices, therefore on-site weldings are NOT required, reducing workforce cost and mounting time. The ergonomy of the design ensures minimum equipment and installation effort.
